Muffler

[vw driver]

I am considering installing this exhaust system on my trike. I was wondering what sort of muffler might work well with this, nothing too loud. Thanks.

I have the same type of header on my vw and have a 12 inch glasspack on it. Not too loud but still makes noise. A turbo type muffler would give nice throaty sound without too much noise.

Here is the 12 inch glasspack muffler. I do like the sound of it. Since it is on the rear it's not too loud up front.

Thanks. The outlet on mine comes out of the bottom rather than the top but the 12" size looks perfect for what I need.ThumbUp

I found a short muffler at the auto parts store, welded it on, painted it. It sounds good, not real loud but I can hear the engine firing.I still have a lot of work to do cleaning up the engine but it's a good runner.
