Muffler clearance

Brad, what exactly are you wondering about?

Do you have a clearance problem?

I have a Freewheeler trike, similar exhaust to a Tri Glide, I could measure for you if it helps

Like Jack, I ride a Freewheeler. If I understand your question, I believe any clearance at all is “enough”.The worst result would be a chip on the swing arm when the shocks are unloaded. The clearance would be affected by lift brackets and air pressure (or sag adjustment) of your shocks. It’s possible you could slip the z-pipe forward or….you could put a ding in the pipe for clearance if you feel it’s necessary. DK makes the most popular lift brackets and has done lots of testing so maybe they will comment. My 2 cents.
