Need some input. We have a 99 Honda Valkyrie Interstate Motortike. I need to replace rear shocks. Would love to add airbags. Motortike no longer has shocks for bike. I'm adding pics to maybe help.Resized_20240926_154922_1727403279962.jpegResized_20241108_110544_1731085565980.jpeg20241108_095113.jpg20241108_094501.jpg

Obviously it's going to be different from a bike so it probably will be a different model. Is would suggest asking MotorTrike what part number the shocks were and then reach out directly to Progressive Suspension and see if they still offer them. Many PS shocks will come in different lengths. Now if they also don't sell them, they will probably have a substitute replacement.

Unfortunately Motortike won't deal with a person and a Motortike dealer that went above and beyond was told that Motortike no longer has part numbers for that early of a model. They were special made by Progressive Suspension. PS says the numbers I have found on shock are not the correct number for them to be able to look up. Dumbfounded at this point. We do know it was before they started using airbags or airshocks.

Yes I measured ours they measured 15" of course they are adjustable so they could be 13" or 16" depending on what manufacturer uses. My head is spinning lol PS says there is a number on the shock which requires taking shock out and spring off, then if I mess that up bike can't be ridden at all. Just really frustrating.

I would reach out to a company like DK Customs, PRo Action. Ohlins. All better than Progressive in my opinion. Or Papa Zook? I hear he’s been around trikes for a few… lol
