Motor Trike Razor Squeeking issues

I had my 2012 Wing converted with the Motor Trike Razor Kit at the Troup Texas factory in May. Since Day one it has squeaked something awful. I have brought it back to the dealership that sent it to Troup and they suggested spraying all the rubber bushings. So I sprayed weekly and in most cases daily with no success in subduing the horrible noise. I then contacted Motor Trike and they said to take it to the Dealership, they can fix it. I want to know if anyone else has experienced this issue and how did you resolve it.<br />

Most of the Motor Trike squeaks posted here are cured by spraying the rubber bushings. Sounds like Motor Trike has talked to your dealer and he can cure it for you. Are you closer to your dealer or to Motor Trike?

I'd take it back to the dealer. No excuse for a new trike to squeak like that.

</div>First time I plugged the trailer hitch into the receiver, I stepped on it a couple times to test how secure it was. I got a couple squeaks. Next time I did it -no- squeaks. Only had a few miles on the trike at that time, and maybe it takes a little riding for the bushings to settle(?)

Mike, thanks but after 4,000 miles on the conversion I would expect the squeak to be worked out,,,,nope. It is really embarrassingly loud.

The Squeak is so sensitive it squeals when I grab the handle bar to climb on. I know it's not right and I believe Motor Trike and the dealership should have done more to rectify the situation even if it meant picking it up at my residence and transporting it back to the factory.

I hate to say it but mines been squeaking since the day I got it.

2010 GW MT kit.

Same deal, the bushings.

Spray them, it stops for a short while then back to sounding like a cats tail caught under a rocking chair....

I just turn the radio up louder now.

What are you guys using for a lube?

I had that same problem and used "AMSOIL" spray silicone but the problem came back right away. I noticed the spray was very thin (watery) so I got some "Liquid Wrench" spray silicone. This stuff is much thicker and stays put. It's been well over six months since I hard any squeaking...

Ive tried sillycone, WD40, store brand sprays a lot of stuff<greases> in the beginning. The first 6 months or so of owning the trike.
I did buy it used a year old.
As I ride mine daily you tend to ignore most of the little things that might be noticed more by a recreational rider. Like small vibrations a clunk in the front end that sort of thing.
Ive tried quite a few different sprays along with grease packed on them. Goes away for awhile then at some slow speed maneuver Ill hear it squeak once in a while.
Honestly I just don't pay it much attention any more. It makes the most noise just before I stop in my garage going over the lip of my driveway to the floor of the garage itself.
I thought for awhile about replacing the bushings with rubber or something, anything.
But the polyurethane is probably the best to use and its just makes noises.
Basically Ive learned to live with it.
