Ok, I have a 2007 Harley Electrica Glide Classic with a 2011 MotorTrike Gladiator Kit.

I had a loose Muffler went under to tighten it up & found Loose bolts on the Clutch side of the Drive Pulley.

It seemed the inner CV joint was in the way of getting to these to tighten them So, Removed CV Joint.

Only to find that still didn't help.

I'm being told these bolts are done @ Motor Trike & Not @ Installation.

That Motor Trike Tightens them to 70Lbs with Red lock-tight.

I'm Wondering How I can do that when I can barely get a Open-end wrench in there.

Also I can't see the Threads to put the lock-tight on.

Then after Working on this I see these Bolt holes on the Brake Side of the Bike & start wondering

if I'm missing Bolts here.

Just looking for help on How to get this All back together &

feel Safe making Long rides without Worrying my bike could fall apart. :(

Thanks for any Help...

I can get more Pics tomorrow if that would help in this Discussion.

I'm Just Unsure Where to go from Here.:confused:

Wish I knew how this was put together;

So, I would be able to put it Back together..

Wife is Not Happy :( bc We are not able to ride &

I cant Ride worried the Rear end could Shake apart going down the Rd.

Looks like a Bad design by Motor-Trike;

If there is No Good way to Tighten these Bolts up without a Full Removal of the rear end.:(

Is there anyone on here from Motor Trike?

The Motor Trike Installer I have been going to since getting the Trike Used was trying to reach out to Richard.

But I will give him a try myself just incase I'm not getting True info from the Installer.

Thanks for the Info.

I dont have a Gladiator kit but a Trog Kit. I would advise you to remove the muffler and extension pipe from the cross over and take those bolts out, pull the spacer and rear drive belt pulley, then inspect the hub the bolts thread into behind the rear belt pulley.

I had a similar issue with my Trog kit. If the bolts thread into a aluminum hub and the bolts are a sloppy fit or threads pull out with the bolt. You will need to get a steel timesert kit to install into the aluminum hub. plan on replacing the bolts and washers with new. The bolts and washer are a Grade 8 and can be found through McMaster Carr.

Once the bolts back out chances are the bolts have distorted the hub threads and you will not fix it any other way.

Take pictures before you disassemble so you have before pics to review when reassembling.
