Contiplating adding some type of highway pegs I chose Mick O Pegs. The Kuryaykn,s are really nice but my legs are short and did not want the expense of trying comfort controls I got in touch with Jay from Mick O Pegs. I have read in some posts on hear and the theary was they would not work with running boards. Jay agreed that I try the KD Model and if they did not work they would take them back without the restocking fee. We decided on the KD model due to me having stock foot pegs on the 2007 Wing with a 2015 Road Smith Kit. They ask a lot of questions making sure they will be a good fit for you . Here are a couple pictures showing them . The 3rd picture showing them clearing the foot boards. Just installed them yesterday and riding today they felt fine. Just thought I would pass this on.They are spring loaded take your foot off and they come back up. Check their web site out.

Good to hear the Mic-O-Pegs will work with the Roadsmith. I have a Hannigan and no way will they work. I had them on my bike and personally think they are the best peg out there. Take your time and experiment with adjusting them until you get them just right. I found that an electric drill with a cut off allen wrench will let you change the adjustments quick. I just cut the torque back on the drill so they aren't too tight and played with them over a period of several adjustments until they were exactly right for me.

I had the Mic-O-Pegs when my trike was a two wheeler & loved them, but didn't think they would work with the trike. Have you check the distance between your heel & the ground when using them?

With the KD model you need to tilt it down a little, the valve cover is pretty close. It works for me, I am very happy with them.
