Even though my military retirement is from the Air Force, I will always be fond of and proud of my 4 years in the Marines from 1965 to 1969. Semper Fi!

Yep, happy birthday indeed. I will say though it takes ALL branches to make the USA complete. For instance my Navy brothers never let me forget that with out their boats I wouldn't be getting very far.

Now if we ever get a CIC that will take away these absurd rules of engagement, we could take care of business and be completely home in a matter of weeks every time. And after that happened a few times, other folks would probably leave us be for the most part.
