Looks like Saturday will be a good day

So since i'm not retired yet i have to look forward for the weekends.Looks like the weather for this Saturday is going to be nice.Since we live about 100 miles north of the Ohio river I think that will be our destination.Then take the fairy over to Augusta Ky for lunch and the long way home.Looking forward to it.

I sure remember those pre retirement days Steve. Was always a bonus when Mother Nature would give me a stellar day to get my face in the breeze!

Saturday was lawn day, Sunday was play day. Tried to squeeze in a afterdinner do the lawn thing, full belly canceled that idea most of the times.

I always try to get the yard work done thru the week even if it takes two days.

Get rid of the grass. When we had the horse farm, it took me 4 hrs of sitting on the tractor and mower to cut the grass. When we sold out and moved in the motorhome, someone else took care of the grass. When we built the last house, everything is landscaped in rocks. Irrigation system on the trees and plants and the rocks don't need water or mowing. When I see something green showing up, I grab the weed killer and it's gone. Jim
