It's that time of year to remind all your car driving friends to look twice and harder for motorcyclists.

Here's is the original Facebook link.

And I took the time to transfer it to my YouTube channel for those that don't have or use Facebook.

I know trikes are bigger but the more eyes that see this the better chance everyone has to survive another

season of riding. Starting with those headed to Daytona now.

Nice day outside. The wife and I decide a lunch run is in order. Six miles to the place. On the way back a lady pulls directly across our path from a grocery store parking lot to our left to side street on our right - four lane road with turn lanes. Managed to stop about two feet from hitting her broadside with all wheels locked in a slide. Made one other stop and coming out of the parking lot a car turned in short and almost side swiped us. Went home. Parked the trike. Took a nap. Not a good day to ride.

Understood... no day is a good day to ride in/around Midland. It has 10 full moons hanging over it 24/7/365.

Look , I use my Bikes And Trikes and now my Slingshot as every day drivers unless the weather is bad , Or i have to use my Car or truck to carry stuff.......And at least once a week a situation comes up where someone pulls a new bonehead move out of the blue that iv'e never seen before where we almost collide ...... No matter if i'm on a Trike Bike, Slingshot , Or my car or truck....People aren't out to get you just because of what you drive.....People just don't know how to drive and or don't give a shit ...Any Moron can drive a vehicle now days...

Thats just the way it is...So be safe out there ,And don't be the one to pull a bonehead move.......:D...Remember even bikers pull bonehead moves from time to time...Some bikers even when their driving a car will.....:D...

One of my favorite internet stories probably not true but. CHP motorcycle cop ridin down the street. Old lady gettin ready to pull out of a side street. Old lady looks at cop and pulls right out in front of him. Cop lays down bike. Gets up walks over to woman, lady you looked right at me, didn't you see me? Yes but I thought you were just some kid on a honda.:) I think that says about all you need to know about motocycle awareness
