Lima man puts 500,000 on his Goldwing

I hope he changed plugs and timing chain. Maybe not. Forgot timing chain on the 1800.
WOW

Half a Dozen or so Gold Wing 1800s around here that have 300,000 to 500,000+ miles on Them....Engines never rebuilt yet, just timing, ignition, oil/filter replacements over the years.........at least Three Harleys here with 300,000+ on Them, but the Engines have been rebuilt.......Some Folks "RIDE A LOT".......;)

One of the reasons I choose a Wing as my next trike, they are like the Energizer Bunny, they just keep going and going with just normal maintenance. HD's normally need top end work by 150,000 miles if they don't grenade 1st.

Good point, (but don't post this on the Harley site or they will crucify you like they did me for even HINTING that Harleys may have mechanical issues on some bikes)

 I know what you mean, only advantage is I know a whole lot more about the inner workings of the Harley's than a vast majority of the owners. Most just ride them and pay someone else to get their hands dirty, where I do my own wrenching.
