i picked mine up today and i'm waitting for the better half to get

They are called covers so i'm guessing they go over what is allready there?

Light? Like with light bulbs? Or, are you talking about the chrome covers that go over the passenger floorboards (HD #53070-00)?

I have them on my TG......put one up over the floorboard, mark holes, drill and screw on.

If I can do them, anyone can do 'em:yes: ....even your wife, but I think you should do it (lol).

i only have one hand that i can use(my fingers don't bend on my right hand) so i know for sure my husbun will be putting them on for me:D

Hope you don't mind my asking....how do you operate the throttle and brake? Do you have special equipment? Oh, and what is the reason for the passenger floor board covers?

way to go Barb, safety chrome is a must:yes:

Speaking from experience...just be sure you remember that the screws are tapping into plastic and do not get too macho with the screwdriver. I found myself going to Lowes and getting a slightly larger stainless screw and polishing it.

Is that foot brake strong enough to stop you in a emergency situation? Mine doesn't stop me unless I am going extremely slow and on flat terrain.

Roadkill, here you state that you ONLY use the rear foot brake and in another post you state that the stock HD rear brake…”stops you on a dime. What kind of speeds are you talking about that you can rely solely upon the rear foot brake only to “stop you on a dime”?

I and numerous others have posted that we are dissatisfied with the performance of the Tri-Glide rear brake; I can’t imagine relying solely upon the rear with speeds over 12-15MPH! What’s your secret?

Stay Safe Out There!!!!
