Left Rear Tire Inflation?

I read that some 3 wheel riders inflate the left rear tire, crown side of the road, 2 lbs or less than the right rear tire. I've wondered if this is a good idea, bad idea, or totally irrelevant; just inflate both both tires the same psi and ride. Seems the suspension should compensate for the 'crown in the road' thing, but maybe not? All comments welcome.

Early on that was a big thing to do with the Spiders...2008 Till 2011 [The front tire]....Maybe they still do, But i was asked to leave the Forum in 2011..:Shrug:

Rhino, sorry to hear ya had to leave spyderlovers, the gl1800 Riders forum is getting kind of tough with some difficult moderators, one in particular. Some folks get eat up with the power and do what they do, so it is what it is. I want to go there and read, so I walk on the proverbial egg and watch carefully what I say if I say anything. I like TT cause it's laid back and mods not beating you down for something or other.

Bill, down here in Florida where it's flat every where, I run 22 left, 24 right. 99% of our roads are crowned that way and I can let go of the handlebars at just about any speed and the bike will track true. When we head to the Carolinas or Arkansas to ride the twisties, I run 22 in both.

Hi Zammy, I'm in Lakeland, so I know about flatland riding. Appreciate your comment, I'm running close to your psi's, 26 on the right, 24 on the left. Haven't been doing that for very long, so I'll see how I feel about it in a couple months.
