Wow, that was an amazing video!!! You chose the right video as that's been my favorite song since it first came out. The part of the song that says: "I can't forget the men that died" always brings tears to my eyes. Lee Greenwood singing that song is tremendous, but the Airmen adding their emotion just puts it over the top for me.
However, the line: "Where the flag still stands for freedom and they can't take that away"...... we should keep in mind there are those that want to do exactly that, both foreign and domestic.
Anyway, thanks for the memories, absolutely LOVED it.
5 months after 9/11 Lee Greenwood performed at the rodeo in San Antonio. I will never forget the overwhelming feeling of patriotism that filled the arena that evening. Everyone stood up from the first note of that song, the clapping and cheering didn't end for several minutes after he finished.
God Bless everyone who remembers and shows their patriotism!
Most of you don’t know I own two Pizza restaurants. I have a long time delivery driver who fly’s a 3’x5’ US Flag on the back of this truck. I have had a few customers ask why we allow him to so. My answer “Because we live in the greatest country and we can show our love of God and Country as we choose. Besides we get a lot more call asking for him to delivery they food than the few who compliant. He has become a local celebrity. Families will ask him to take pictures’ with them and he gives out little flags to the kids.
