LED Valve Stem Caps

Bought some from J&P Cycles, they are supposed to light up when the wheels turn. Spinning the wheel by hand nothing happens. Anyone else have them? Do you have to reach a certain speed before they come on?

I have a set for years now, never put them on but every time i move them around [inadvertently] they blink at the slightest move, Just tap them with your finger they should go on.:Shrug:

Did you check the batteries for power and make sure they are installed correctly?? The ones my girlfriend has on her bike light up with just a slight vibration

Thanks Guys. FYI: I looked at them again and discovered they are shipped with a clear plastic disc over the batteries, which of course has to be removed before the batteries can make contact. As the disc is clear you won't see it unless you remove the batteries from the case. Duh!

Here in Louisiana, I've actually had cars moving over on me at night, until they see the valve caps blinking. Then they get off of me.

That's either because they are hypnotized by the lights or they think you are a UFO. ThumbUp

Could it be that they were staring at the lights and that's why they started to drift over in the first place, (ie Target Fixation.) :Shrug:
