I had 2 questions pertaining to freewheeler tail lights . I am wondering a red led or a white led shinning through a red lens which one is brighter & next advice on where to buy. I have looked at what H D has to offer but would like to hear from owners & if the flashing verses steady light on brake affects the the electronics, I have a 2015 freewheeler thanks in advance.

Thanks Jack for reference to my old, but high information post.

In the LED world, you always want the bulb color to match the lens color.

Go with the Sylvania...a lifetime warranty and a great price, how can you beat that.

Also, be sure to test it prior to re-installing the lens cover. I had to reverse the polarity on mine.

They are also CAN BUS compatible, so they work great with the HD system.

Custom Dynamics make an excellent insert for the front turn signals. I switched to clear lens with the white LEDs & got many compliments on how bright they were.

The running lights are bright white & switch to amber while blinking.

This was the first thing I did to mine when I got it. Front turn signals were the only thing not LED when I got mine. They are unbelievably bright.
