Back in 2011 I wanted to take as good of care of my new 2012 Triglide as possible (like everyone else). I ran across an ad for sheets of clear plastic film to protect the paint from stones and bugs. Did a great job for the first 10 years, then a couple days ago I noticed the paint below the film was starting to craze (crack). Called my buddy that's been in the body business since the 60's and he said it's not uncommon for paint to crack when it's been covered by plastic. So, I'm sure you love your bike as much as I love mine, but don't make the dumb mistake I did and put protective film on the paint and wind up ruining it.

You got 10 out of it.....You know what it would look like without the film in just 5 years ...

My 11 was a mess in just two years.....
