Just surfing around this morning with no real destination and I found this site
Offering for both M8's and Twin cams.
Has anyone ever used one? I have had some trouble over the years on different models trying to locate neutral, but not really a serious concern.
Maybe it is just more snake oil?

It’s coincidental that you posted this!
A few months ago I saw a video showing this product (along with their own personal review.. which was positive).
Now… personally I don’t have a huge problem getting into neutral, but every once in a while, I do have to dance with it to get in.
Mainly using neutral in order to go into reverse, especially if traffic is behind you, (or even at a bike rally for example), obviously a smooth transition to get into neutral, then reverse, is welcomed!

So I bought not one… but two of them!
(One for my Son & one for myself).

My son has a Dyna switchback and his is a little temperamental to get into neutral.
On their website, they listed the Dyna switchback as verified fitment, but not any trikes.
I installed mine without issue and just by hand testing it, it does indeed seem easier. (I’ll know better in springtime if it really is)!

My son’s would NOT work and it hit the back of the fins on the rear cylinder…. After a long round & round with them, they finally accepted the return and now lists on their site it does not fit a Dyna switchback. I had to wait until they personally did a fitment check and would not believe my pics I sent them.

Now, I will say this… it is basically an “adapter” that simply just raises the rear part of the linkage up… that’s it!

Also, it’s just machined aluminum, it’s not even chromed, and their shipping costs is higher than most and they ship it the cheapest way, which also takes the longest. (UPS to USPS handoff delivery).
so other than a couple small disappointments, I will say that it does fit my 2014 TG and does look nice.
Will it truly make a difference? Again by hand, it does feel like it, but a road test will be the true testing. I will report back when I do. (Pennsylvanian here!) 😔

I’m always open for cool ideas (gadgets, if you will) and love modding the trike.
I “shoot from the hip” and give honest first hand experiences and reviews and have posted a few videos too. These are of course, my personal experiences and my personal reviews so others may have different results, but I ALWAYS keep an open mind.
(I did not do a video on this product … yet….. but maybe after I road test it, I will).
It only takes a couple minutes to install.

Here’s a couple pics of it installed on my TG:

I have to say, it's kinda pricey for what it is.

100% agreed!!!.
It was one of those spontaneous purchases before the holidays.
It was Mainly for my son, but also liked the idea.
(If it was chromed, I could justify it more, but yes, it is definitely overpriced, in my opinion).

Hopefully it works as advertised or it will be removed … so the more I think about it, a video most likely will be in the future on this. 👍🏻

Sheesh, after all this time we still don't know why Harley's with a wet clutch are hard to get into neutral. The problem is the WET CLUTCH!!!
With the clutch lever pulled in and the tranny in 1st or 2nd gear, simply blip the throttle then snick your tranny easily into neutral. Blipping the throttle causes the drive and driven plates in the clutch pack to momentarily rotate at different speeds taking the load off the tranny. This has worked for me for the last 35 years.

Great looking bike!
I may be wrong but the extension ( and that's all it appears to be), can't override a good adjustment of the clutch. I guess it is physics as to why this item helps find neutral better than the regular shift arm. If this worked so well wouldn't it be better for HD to just make a longer shift arm out of the transmission?
I am not dissing this EZ shift piece just running all this through my head as I make a decision to buy or not.

Thank you!
Absolutely 100% agreed!
It is indeed just an adapter and if (IF) is a noticeable difference, then all HD needs to do is make that arm longer. Of course there are many things that they should do differently to make things better… I would not expect them to.
So if it works, it works… we shall see! 👍🏻

2019 Tri glide. I don't seem to have much of a problem getting my bike into neutral. At a slow roll I just tap on the lever and it seems to pop right in. I really never gave it much thought.

My 17 has no issues getting into neutral, and since it has a hydraulic there is no adjustment per say. My 02 Road King never has had a issue nor my 93 FXLR. As Rogue 1 said it's about finding what works. Proper clutch and cable adjustment is key on cable bikes.
