North Korean leader Kim wants a meet with Trump. Maybe it's a ploy to get some sanctions lifted (which I suspect) or, just maybe, hopefully, some real progress in making some changes in north Korea. The fact that north and south Korea worked together for the Olympics was a hopeful sign. Damn people almost got me killed when grandpa was in charge and they shot down a EC121.

Kim is not as dumb as the press makes him out to be......We 'The world let him get too far, Now he has us by the balls...He gonna win ,And be a thorn in our side for many years...

It's a start and one long over due for North Korea. But the press is bound to get on the bandwagon that we have two crazies wanting to talk. Just where will the talks go? Big question for sure. Trump is a businessman, not a politician. I certainly hope he has the right people at his side and suspect he will. But just getting the two together after this much time is a giant step in the right direction, I doubt in real change will take place but it will be progress if the door is left open.

Negotiating would be a step in the right direction, but how many times since the original armistice was drawn has the rogue nation reneged on their "promises"? Way too many...

Hopeful optimism for these upcoming "talks" if they ever come about, but not enough hurt from the latest round of sanctions has been experienced by LRM directly.

At least Trump won't give him a key to our treasury, as many of his predecessors did...MAGA

I was in South Korea in 1976 when they chopped the tree down and almost went to war then, I had 3 months left in country.
