You will Not lose codes….everything will go back to normal…Been there done that…

Change the battery once a year your Fob will be good to go

Every once in a while you will see some have reported even after changing the battery the Fob does not work

If this happens simply pry up on the battery contact, this has helped many

Also use a good brand battery, not the Bo Bo ones from the dollar stores

Also have been this route, lol. Now I change the batteries once a year on the bikes anniversary, nothing gets lost.

Remembering to change the fob battery on a certain date is too much for me. I carry a spare battery along with the owners manual.

Same here......But no manual....Just the Securely card with the (My) code numbers.......

And just FYI....Most if not all codes come to the dealers from the factory with all number 1's....
