Should be a national holiday, as this is my little bride and my 58th anniversary. She is a very fine lady and when we first married she could carry one sack of food with each arm on the back of our 1947 HD with no sissy bar as we had never heard of such a thing in 1957. Hope every one has great and safe day.:clapping:

Ray congratulations to you and your lucky bride on your 58th anniversary. Bikers make the best husbands.

a grate live

after reading you post I got to thinking back. in 1962 or 63 all I had for transportation was a HD, the wife had 4 kids ( we was just dating then) when she needed things from the store we went on the HD some time we had 5 sacks or so. I put 2 on the gas tank 1 was between Darlene and I on the seat and she had 2 one in each arm. on Sundays after noon I would take all 6 of us on the HD about 1 mile to a DQ and get them ice cream ( we sat out side on tables ) the youngest was 6 months the oldest was about 12 year. looking back I don't know how we did it. ( Darlene & I have been married 48 years, all the kids now have kids and we have a bunch of grate grand kids. see what you started. have a good day

some time I think Darlene might disagree whith you Zook ( of course we have only been married for 48 years) I might improve some. or not

Congrats Rev to you and your Bride on your 58 years together. Will be 46 this July for Me and my Bride. Yes I can relate to some of the things you guys are talking about, Motorcycles have been a big part of our lives as long as we can remember. I too remember having only a Motorcycle for transportation for Myself for many years, Heat, Cold, rain, and snow, this was how I traveled. Wife had a car but we spent way more time on the Bike than in the car. Good days they were,.... because we survived them. Don't know if I could do it in todays age of Traffic and Teen Texting. Odds of survival have really dropped since the 60's.:AGGHH:

Again, Congratulations to you and to all of the other Survivors on here!!!
