Interesting discovery

I have a full trike cover from Nelson-Riggs that worked fine on my 03 GL1800 trike, but now I have a 06 GL1800 with a Roadsmith trike kit, and I can not get the cover to go over the back, it is just too tight. I have tried a few different things, but no go, so I am wondering if anyone else has came across this. The only thing that makes any sense, is that I am left-handed.....
So I was wondering if anyone else has this combination, and can you get the cover to work.................

The Roadsmith is a longer kit. What was the last kit?

If you have extras as well. Trunk rack, flag poles, that sort of thing. Mine fits tight as well. I found that if I run the zipper about halfway open when putting it on that seems to help.

As John mentioned, the Roadsmith kit is longer than most - it moves the rear wheels back 10", add a few more inches for the lower trunk and the cover will be too short. I think, but will need confirmation from owners, that the Hannigan kit also has a longer wheelbase, and I do know it is the widest kit, so a standard cover may not fit that conversion either.

You are right. The Hannigan is wider and also longer. The zipper on the rear of the cover works out great though and it does fit, although quite tightly.......
