Installation of Shock Lift Brackets

I purchased the shock lift brackets from Dennis and had them installed in VA Beach, VA by 757 Cycles (757)301-2453.I called for an appointment and they took me right away. It took about an hour to install without any problems. This was the second trike they installed the brackets on! They only charged me one hour of labor!!!! 757 Cycles did a super job with the installation and I highly recommend them to anyone owning a Harley Triglide in the Tidewater VA area. 757 Cycles (757)301-2453 is moving to a new and larger location on 1 March! So, give them a call and schedule an appointment! I highly recommend them and they are great to work with!!!!!

BTW: Dennis' shock brakets are AWESOME!!! The trike rides 100% better and look great!!!! Thanks, Dennis!!!!!!

Yep, I just had the same success w/ my 2013 limited TG...... battlefield Harley (Gettysburg, pa). First install for them..... They commented on the ease of install and how good they made the bike....

+1 on Ed's comment concerning 757 Cycles and the quality of Dennis' lift brackets. My '11 TG was the first one that 757 Cycles had added the lift brackets to and I had them install the Tour Pack Rails at the same time. During the install, the owner commented several times about the fit and finish of both products and I couldn't agree more. From both a handling and aesthetic point of view (no pun intended), these are the two best mods that I have done.

Well it got me off my A** and quit talking about buyin and bought !! Ill probably install the lift befor I even try unloading the trike !!! Thanks Dennis !!!!!!

A couple of 3ft 2x6's to make your ramp longer will get you out of the trailer, and maybe jack up the tongue as far as it will go. This will at least get ya out of the trailer so you have plenty of room to install.
After you have the lifts on be sure to air up all the way, and you will have plenty of room.
Just my findings the hard way 1

A friend had the brackets installed on his 2013 Triglide by a dealer and also wanted V&H torque headers. The dealer called and told him only one or the other would fit. He elected to have the brackets installed. I do NOT know what the dealers problem was as I have both the V&H headers and the brackets without any problems.

Dave,

I have had some owners / dealers with the true duals by VH report the same thing. Some installed both, others had a fitment problem trying both. I am sorry to say, I have no answer as I have not been a part of installing the V&H duals.

Man of War Harley, in Lexington Ky., put mine on, and charged one hr. They were impressed with the qualityof the lifts and ease of installing. I love them to pieces ,now I'am going to order the Clutch Wiz next. Dennis has quality products that really do make a difference in your ride..

Installed his lift kit and love it - I prefer the higher/rised rear on the
Harley - haven't dragged my Bassani mufflers yet! I have no need
for the TourPak relocator.

Installed the lift bracket first and regretted not doing the rails at the same time. My impression was with the lifts installed the tourpak pointed down too much. Have the tourpak rails on now and I really like the look. Great products from Dennis for sure.

I had my lift brackets installed by Stutsman HD in Jamestown, ND back in early 2011 and they charged me 1 hr. of labor based on the instructions that came with the brackets. I was fine with that. They were so impressed with the brackets that they now purchase them and install them on new trikes as an accessory before they even hit the show room floor. I didn't do the tour pak rails as Stutsman HD had already moved my tour pack back 2 inches using a method they developed but it doesn't level the pak.

Does moving the tourpack back using the relocation brackets from triglidwstuff change the handling characturistics of the triglide riding 2 up?

Dennis

I just install mine yesterday with V&H duals on a 2013 TG and was having problems with the install, untill i read the paper that came with them and took both shocks loose, and they went right on.

Thanks Sprinkman

I just got a 2012 Triglide last Friday. Also have a 2008 Electraglide in the garage. I like a backrest, and the wife doesn't like me to use one because she has less room. She doesn't want me to put one on the TRI. If I can move the tourpac back an inch or two without affecting handling maybe I can make us both happy..

I put the lift brackets on then had the V&H true duals installed, that was several thousand miles ago no problem.

I had the lift brackets installed today and both the HD Dealer and I noticed the improved handling. I put a good word in for you Dennis, they are going to order a set for a customer with an anniversary Tri Glide looking for a lift. Keep a look out for HD of Jackson MS. Great brackets, easy to install nothing but good comments from the techs.
