I'm new

I just joined your group today. I own a 2006 Goldwing GL 1800 Trike (the kit is by TRIKE) My wife and I are retired and do quite a bit of riding throughout the US. We are members of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club and I am a TailGunner. I have had very low milage on my front tire (have replaced the front tire three times in 26000 miles.) Today, I was told by one of the local dealerships to try a Michelon Active Pilot Bias tire with bi- directional tread. Has anyone had experience with this or have a better idea?

Hi Trikedaddy and welcome aboard! Hope you can get answers here and add your input. Real nice bunch of people here...
I was talking to a tire dealer at a rally a couple of weeks ago, and he told me they were mounting Bridgestone REAR tires on the front of Golwing trikes. he said your starting out with more rubber and they seem to be doing great. I have 5700 mi. on my Dunlop E3 and it still looks real good. Maybe some of the others on here have tried that or can help you a little more. Nice to meet you and ride safe...

YES , YES and oh YES Pilot Activ " I didn't forget the E " ( rear tire the same size you are now using on the front. ) ( some say mount backwards I say do what you want) I have 12 ,000 on mine looks like it will go another 10 at least. Right now looks like the brand new Dunlop
