I was wondering why the Freewheeler got it's own sticky thread in less than its first year of existence, but the Street Glide Trike (XXX) was in existence for two years (10-11) before Harley discontinued it, and it never got a sticky thread? Kinda one way if you ask me..

I pretty much agree -Wife/I both have the triple

and truely love them. We constantly get comments re "hey you removed the T/P",

lowers, etc.etc. NO, that's how they come.

The nice thing about them is all parts from

the Tri also fit!

Got both at our house (XXX and FW)...different strokes for different folks, but we love them both. I do think that HD pulled the plug on the Street Glide XXX too soon, especially after making the decision to go liquid head cooled on the TG. Like the FW, less is sometimes more for some of us who appreciate the "basic" XXX.

(The color matching Storm in the picture is my wife's "farm' vehicle, for short "vittles" runs. Can you tell she likes blue?)

Where exactly is the XXX thread? I see a TG thread and a Freewheeler thread, but no Street Glide Trike thread. Am I missing something?

Not sure why the 'free' got its own section. Just look, no new posts in a couple of days. I shouldn't gripe, we have a Freewheeler and a Tri-Glide. Not sure where to post, post twice, or just go to the general stuff. Liked it better when we were one big happy "Harley Trike" family. I'm waiting for someone to ask for a 'Blue Tri-Glide Only' section.

Oh Well, guess I'll go clean the scoots after a great afternoon of riding.

:Agree: .... Harley trikes are Harley trikes and now that we have split into 3 areas .... I think it sucks! I'd like ALL Harley trikes.
Just my opinion .... that I have to switch forums to check on my new friend Opinionated who bought a Freewheeler epper:. I think I can help all Harley trikers with some of their issues.

Why not have Post Icon options for Freewheeler Specific and Tri Glide Specific that thread starters could use for when it truely is model specific?

I think the MOCO shut them down because it is so easy to go from one to the other without the MOCO's help. Since it was all TG stuff, just take off the tour pack, lose the passing lights and there you are instant XXX. The Freewheeler actually give a choice like RK or Ultra to trikers. Basic running system stuff fits but not the box. It is for those who don't want t radio or.....
