How the bottom of the fenders ( GL800 Motortrike) can get so dirty, greasy, rock hit, ETC. The aerodynamics just do not look like that should happen.. Not from the from tire, not from being in the wind. Even my cars front end does not accumulate so much 'junk'. Perplexing. :xzqxz:

It is what it is Thomas. Baker Trike Wings reduce it a lot but I still get some. Before I put the trike wings on it was really BAD. You might try that and see if you are more satisfied.. A side benefit to the trike wings is reduced turbulence for the passenger...

Hope that helps.

I don't have one yet, but there are extenders for the bottom of the front fender. Everyone I know that has one say that helps a lot. RIDE SAFE

Those fenders are sticking out there for everything to hit. Most of the chip causing "stuff" does come off the front tire. Being in the wind, those fenders collect bugs just like the front of our cages do.
Trike Wings help but, only above a certain speed and then not much help for my, wider than most, Hannigan.
Best for all to decide on what kind of protection to apply to those fenders, and all other forward facing surfaces.

I've had a 4" extension on my Wing since it was new so I can't speak to the effect it would have on this issue. I'm sure there would be some benefit though.
