As i said in another post i would like to convert my Goldwing to run on hydrogen. :yes: No Joke

I think it would be cool to watch people short out while i pour water into my gas tank inlet. :party:

I have worked out how to build the hydrogen cell components, however the computer must be reprogramed. as that is not possible as far as i know, i'm kinda stuck. :banghead: :innocent:

So if anyone comes up with a reprogramable computer for the goldwing 1800 i would like to know. Thank you in advance

:gah::groan:

I fooled around with hydrogen cells on my Valkryie a couple of years back. It did increase mileage about 20-25 percent. I was running two fairly radical cells to achieve this.
I had the advantage of running 6 carbs instead of fuel injectors that pretty well takes the computer problem away and the Honda alternator puts out like a champ.
Long story short short I found you need too much electrical power to do this easily. Some of the more radical chemicals involved are dangerous as well. Good luck to you!

Please be careful!

I can't help with the computer aspect other than to tell you that the O/2 sensor will indicate to the computer on board that there is too much oxygen present and will cause the addition of extra fuel which will in turn cause worse mileage. I can't think of any way within reason that enough electrical power can be produced to convert enough water into Hydrogen to run the engine entirely on this gas.

Anyway I wish you well on this and I'm sorry I can't help you with the computer situation.

Check out Water4Gas.com I bought into this awhile ago and am still playing with it. Thay say thay have a unit for computer cars. Did improve from 8mpg to 12mpg on my 81 chevy truck.
