I have a 2010 Roadsmith Goldwing............(62,000 miles)

Under the drive shaft are two grease jurks, How often do any of you shoot a shot of grease in those grease fittings??

Leaving on a long trip this coming Friday, May 20th, and "thinking" maybe I should grab my grease gun, and shoot a squirt of grease into the fittings..

PS: I did grease them up a month ago before waking her up out of her winter's hibernation period....

Can a person over due it/and place too much grease up there??

OK I just spoke to Roadsmith today {3/14/23} and they said don't grease there, cause it's not a moving part, so I will not shoot any grease there this coming season....

Did you also ask........If they don't need grease whats is the reason for the Zerks being there??

That makes no sense, why does it have grease fittings

I would grease them. Harley no longer puts a fitting on the shifter shaft that runs thru the primary cover, mine does because I put one there and I grease it every oil change;)

I also have the exact question, "why put grease zirks there"?? If not to grease up...........

I'll shoot a few squirts in there, before take'n her out of hibernation.....

Thanks all
