How many spare watts/amps on a modern GW?

I need to find out how many spare watts/amps the newer GW models have available. I need about 200 watts for an EntroSys.

I've searched back posts and found that the later 1800s put out 1300 watts, but I haven't found any posts saying how many of those watts are in use on a fully loaded wing.

Believe me, that 200 watts would be like a flea on an elephant's back to the GL1800 alternator. I don't have the service manual for my 2015 handy but the one for my '06 says 1200 watts @ 5000 rpm. Both my '01 and '06 were loaded with LEDs and the trailers I've pulled were lit up also. Never had a single power starvation issue. :pepper:

Yes I know LEDs are low power consumers but when you have well over a thousand of them it adds up. I once put an inline amp meter in out of curiosity. On just the bike with 864 LEDs I was drawing 5.69 amps. Add the trailer LEDs and lights I expect that number doubled.... :xszpv::xszpv:

I've been planning to buy an Entrosys for year or so. I did the calculations last year and we have PLENTY of juice for the AC unit and lots of lights..
God luck.
