Hot Dog Toppings???

Wrap it in cheese, use lots of Dejon mustard and smother it in onion. However, if open face, an all beef dog on each half, topped with extra hot chili (no beans), cheese and onion. Season to taste. Yum..... BURP ...... Jim

Mustard, Sour Kraut from the Cart Vendors around Brooklyn, NY in the late 60's. Hot dog for 0.25$.

AKA ; Dirty Water Dogs......:clapping:...The last time i had them was when i had my business at 47th and Fifth Ave....I would get them from a cart in front of of Saint Pat's at 12 noon....And Girl Watch.......

Never have figured out why they don’t re-invent the hot dog bun...they don’t really hold just the weiner...let alone the “stuff” without winding up with a mess. Subway rolls are the closest I have found that are more appropriate.. but basically they are just more bread. We need something that is thinner and hollowed out with sides... a half wrap of sorts.. actually, the style of the paper holder a hotdog is sometimes served in is what I have in mind.

More bread and less stuff ! The next time you order a drink from a fast food joint , tell them NO ICE. The soda is cold from the machine dispenser. Bread is cheep , ice is cheaper.

Have You Noticed No-one Said Ketchup........ That proves it.......

When my Sons were young up till maybe 15' Ketchup was all they would use on a Frankfurter..AKA Hot Dog....Then Once they developed normal adult taste buds they switch over to mustard ....My Grandkids are young so theres still hope for them...
