Hello From The Ozarks

Well, I went to the Honda dealer to buy a lawn mower and came home with a Honda VTX 1800 Champion trike conversion. Oh, bought the lawn mower too. The VTX is an 08 and had 2100 miles on it. It was a new trade in, just sitting in the parking lot all shinny black and chrome. It has a rear trunk box with a back rest and my GF loves it!

At 67, just couldn't hold her and a 1600 Vulcan Classic up with my legs, I'm glad I took the leap to the trike and wish I had done this years ago.

I have had it a few days and have put a couple hundred miles on it. Started in a church parking lot and now I'm on the roads feeling comfortable in city traffic or on the highway.

As a newbie I'll have a lot of questions as I learn the trike realm, see you in the forums and hopefully on the road! Bill

Thanks for the welcome, I'm finding great stuff here and I'm overloading the brain cells with information. I've never posted a pic on the internet, I'm on the trailing edge of technology, but I'm trying to learn because I know everyone likes pics!

LOL, yes the mower is great but the yard is neglected due to all the riding time on the trike! Thanks for the welcome

Wow, I really got behind here, thank you all for the greetings and well wishes.

Took 4 days off to visit my son in DFW Tx. My 5th grade grand daughter had me attend school on grandparents day for lunch. I don't remember those tables being so small!

Took the Cherokee for the trip, I'm not ready for 500 miles (one way) on my trike yet, hopefully I will by next Spring.

Just picked up a Sena 5 bluetooth intercom system and trying to mount them to our helmets, not so easy to do. I hope it works well so we can have our tunes while riding.
