Hello From Texas! (Honda GL1500 Neck Question?)

Hey, Everybody!

I have a question i'm hoping someone on here has an old
GL1500 frame sitting around and can help me out! I need
the height, width, etc. of the GL1500 frame neck for a
project i'm hoping some can help me! (see photo)

I was just curious, wonder if it be the same neck as a 1981 gl1000 far as the neck goes, if so I can get you the measurements you need, but let me say that from experience with Goldwings from 1981-1992 they take the same neck bearings as a HD that require the bearing cups, the HD neck is 7" long top to bottom of the cups and the GL is slighly longer.

I don't think that the 80-1000 or 84-1200 are the same
as a 1500. Here are some photos and a pic of the
1500 bearings!
