Hi All!
My name is Tom. After not riding a bike in 40 years, I decided to buy one this year. (bucket list item) I bought a Suzuki S50(used) and dropped it on first ride at a stop sign (previously broken back and 2 subsequent back surgeries...legs are just not dependable anymore). I triked it (voyager) and loved it, but short wheelbase punished my back plus voyager quirkiness made me sell it.

I got this beast(9ft long and 5000 miles) with independent rear suspension and it was like riding a limo. It came to me through a federal marshalls auction and I stole it. I've been snooping on this forum for about 5 months and have gathered a wealth of knowledge for which I thank you all! I need to do a few things to this trike to make it perfect, which will come in the near future.

It's like I died and went to heaven riding this baby. Tons of looks at every stoplight and lots of lookers at every gas station(only 20mpg so lots of gas stops and it only runs on premium, but who cares). The off the line power and high end torque are amazing!

Again, thanks for all the knowledge I've received from your site and allthough new to trikes, I hope I can return the favor.

Can someone tell me how to take my name off my posts...thanks.

Best Regards
Tom

Welcome, Tom! Love your trike
I sent you a PM about your name question.

I also was born and raised in McKees Rocks. Went to Sto-Rox High School. We've got to know each other or maybe we're related...Wow!

Welcome from LI. I pass through your area every once in a while (work in Jeannette). Either on trike or flying.

Welcome from the Great State of Texas!! Hope you can c'mon down to Maggie Valley, NC, for our 5th Rally in the Valley on the fourth weekend of June! You'll meet over 200 (maybe over 300!) of our TrikeTalk members, including my better half, Scalp Hunter, who was born & raised in Pittsburgh - went to Central Catholic H.S. Hope to see you there!!

I purchased my first house in 1977 at 915 Broadway...small world!

It certainly is a small world. I moved away from there in 1965. I lived at 533 Broadway at the corner of Charles Street and Broadway. Matter of fact the house I lived in was torn down to build the new Municipal Building. I visited that area about 2 years ago. Bought many loaves of bread from Mancini Bakery.
