Heated Seat

I have a 2006 GL1800 without heated seat, I just purchased a heated seat from a 2012 GL1800. I know it will fit but, can I make it heat on the 2006.

The 2006 should have the connector under the seat. Unless Honda changed the connector, and I doubt they did,you should be able to plug it in. I was warned some time ago that the heated seat on the Wing will not activate when the outside temperature is over 50 degrees.
