Ah, the Crescent Hotel. For some reason they insist on calling it the "1886 Crescent Hotel", for the year it originally opened. Apparently they want you to know it is old, as if you can't tell by the looks. It is very cool to visit, I can easily spend an hour just looking around the lobby, and the view off the back deck is great. The giant cross mtn rider mentions is "Christ Of The Ozarks". It is impressive looking across the valley from the Crescent. You can visit the statue on the grounds where they have The Great Passion Play, and it is huge close up.

We took pictures of that Crescent Hotel from that same spot, Skuuter, where two teenagers were exchanging 'sweet nothings'....I told Nana that maybe we were disrupting their moment by stopping by. Great view here, great romantic spot.

We were also told that Halloween is a "big" holiday in Eureka Springs and that riding amidst the fall colors is amazing.
