I honestly don't even think that would make any difference, I change back 'n' forth all the time, every oil change, and truefully can't feel a difference, what's SO ever...

by Honda. Factory Honda Pro-Honda GN4 10W40 Motorcycle Oil is excellent for use in Goldwings and any other brand motorcycle. We suggest 10W40 for year round use in Goldwing motorcycles and most any late brand motorcycle sold today.

A name brand, quality oil & filter changed on scheduled intervals will be fine.
