Has anyone ever seen anything like this on a motorcycle?

A friend of mine years ago had these on his GL1500.. They manually deployed and auto retracted @ 15mph. Worked great on smooth ground but nearly dumped him a couple times while going in and out of service stations. He ended up doing a MotorTrike conversion.

I knew a man in Hebron Indiana that was working on a add on like that about 10 or 12 year ago. I thought he abandoned the idea and don't remember whether he applied for a patent or not. He had video of himself riding the bike back then. I think his bolted on underneath, probably to the frame, but the wheels were pushed down with his feet. I haven't talked to him in at least 10 years.

Woolie!

So glad to see you back on the forum. I was beginning to think you had gotten out of the trikeing activity.

Ya'll stay warm in Lubbock this winter .... and don't be a stranger here!

My only comment is that this is a trike forum and that thing has 4 wheels so it isn't a trike in my book. It's something I'd never want or have. To each his own though. I guess for some people it would be just the ticket but I'm not one of those people.
