Has anyone had any experience with the Harley Davidson OEM Tour-Pak Lid Fitted Lining with Organizer
part number

Part Number: 53000302 Gray (53000392 black)tour pack fitted contour lid organizer

Several cheap lid organizers that have sticky backs and in in the hot weather they always seem to fall because the adhesive heats up and let loose.I was just wondering how the full Harley Davidson brandwall liner work?

Hi Chuck,
How are you & hope all is well!!

As long as you prep (clean) all areas of attachment well with isopropyl alcohol where each area the hook & loop attaches, I would definitely use this 3M adhesion promoter (link down below)… you’ll be fine. 👍🏻

I used this same method for my son’s bike as he wanted saddle bag lid organizers on his bagger and it’s been over 4 years and no issues.

This adhesion promoter is GREAT stuff and I also always use it where any double sided tape application is used/required.

As 14 TG said cleaning it is very important, also I always buy extra Velcro and put it everywhere on top lid, so far on two trikes I have never had one come loose.
