Harley davidson joint venture.

As of April first' Harley Davidson in a joint venture with Honda motor corp. Will start manufacturing the long delayed Penster Tilting Reverse Trike at the Goldwing manufacting facility at Kumamoto Prefecture Japan, The first one #1 will be given to Jay Leno. Then shortly after the presentation they're expected to hit the showroom's sometime in late 2015, As a 2016 model. The name of the trike hasn't been disclosed as of yet..

Oh lord! You put it on the internet now millions will believe it! For months, we'll see posts by guys wondering when it will hit the showroom floors and wondering what the MSRP will be. I can see it all now. What kind of engine and how many CCs? Color options? Anybody done a test ride yet? 2 up, but side by side or front and back? Now, what about the all important muffler options? Since its joint venture will it have it's very own owners group?

If you cant fix it with a hammer, its an electric problem and they don't make a big enough hammer to fix that? :laugh:

I dont see why Harley's Electric bike is a nightmare.
I rode one on a dynamo, and that thing has some serious torque. They would not tell me but I believe its a series wound motor.

Little know fact, the Westinghouse corporation in Cleveland had designed and had ready for manufacture a electric motorcycle. This was back in the mid nineties.

It was designed for short hops <150 miles
Production line was all ready to make bikes, but Corporate came along at the 11th hour and canned the entire idea...

A hammer will be included in the kit, but they will combine SAE and Metric into a new size to be called Saetric. Couriously, it will discovered by guys that never get rid of tools and had Triumphs, Nortons or BSA's back in the day that their old Witworth tools work perfectly.
