Hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th, I know I'm much happier since I'm done riding in the rain for the day. Left Maggie Valley this morning in the rain and road in it all day long, sometimes we had some nasty down pours. Saw a couple car accidents on I75, one looked like rear ender.

It's a great day! The weather co-operated, our daughter and husband are here, son and grandchildren are here. We're doing the "cookout at poolside thing", and everyone's having a good time. Youngest grandson (age 8) is entertaining us with his "diving board antics". Life is good... ThumbUp

Kathy and I want to wish you a happy and safe Day. I will take the time to consider that freedom is not free and the sacrifices made that secures it for us today. Thanks to ALL our veterans both living and deceased. I had the privilige of singing "America the Beautiful" in church last Sunday; the lyrics are most compelling.

I hate yall got rained on in Maggie Valley Mike, it rained on us the first day in Eureka Springs but thankfully it cleared up and was nice the rest of the time.

We still had a good time, my dad me and a friend I grew up with spent 5 days there. I managed to get him on roads with enough twisties to make him content. I know we will hit that area again sometime in the future, a lot of roads we haven't ridden and things to see.
