Hannigan Motorsports

I hear a lot on here about how Hannigan staying in touch with and helping people with there builds. I wish I could say the same. I have ordered a kit from them and have asked several time for pictures of the build but get no response. I just had them build me a trailer got a few pictures of this. This goes the same with coachrice no communication or respond to e-mails. I hope I don't have any problems after the bike is finished will never get any feed back

Same ? as Wheels!!!!!
Whose building it???
I would also be surprised if you have any problems with a Hannigan:clapping:
As far as pics go, do you mean of the unit as it is manufactured or as the installation progresses?
Might be a concern to show pics of manufacturing processes:AGGHH:
If Coach Rice is doing the install, they should take several pics during the build. My installer did!

A PM has been sent to Mr. Mora (the OP) in an attempt to remind him of the situation, the efforts & progress so far, all communications/discussions to date, and to hopefully calm his frustrations.

Although we do not understand his feelings and sudden misgivings in the least, we do acknowledge and regret it came to such.

This is far from the Norm as the vast majority of our Owner-Partners and History quite certainly attest.

We do humbly & sincerely apologize to Mr. Mora for the perceived slights as well as our apparent, yet surprising, inability to keep him fully satisfied and confident in our ability to provide him with not only a World-Class Product but the same in Caliber of Service.

We publically pledge to continue to provide Mr. Mora and All with both the above as we have been doing for over 40 years.

We regret to have seemingly fallen short in Mr. Mora's case and will do everything humanly possible to rectify these individual issues and prove ourselves to be worthy of his trust and accolades once more.

We hope this Post and Pledge will begin the Process of not only making amends to Mr. Mora but will stand as a reaffirmation of our Commitment to All. We owe Darrell and All our Owner-Partners nothing less.

Thanks much to Mr. Mora for bringing his Feelings to our attention here on Trike Talk as well as the opportunity to publically atone to him and our Trike Talk Family for the shortcoming.

Coach Rice installed my Hannigan conversion and I too had a problem with him returning calls. I never tried e-mail. After a number of calls he answered his phone and I kinda chewed his butt. Turns out he WAS answering my calls and questions via TEXT. I did not have a phone that did texting. He seemed kind of supprised that everybody does not text these days.

In the end, I have a beautifull trike that was delivered within the window that he said I would get it. I did have one problem with the tail lights shortly after delivery and Carl took care of it post haste.

I would not hesitate to use Coach Rice in the future and am VERY happy with my Hannigan conversion.

I have also had no luck in getting a return call from Coach Rice after I got my Harley trike back last June. I have emailed, called, and talked to Hannigan directly about it to no avail. I did have warranty issues to talk about and I'm sure that's why I didn't ever get a return call. I have given up on trying to get ahold of him. Carl was so convincing before the deal, and my "best friend", but afterwards a real deadbeat. Yes, I paid for repairs myself to get it fixed. What I didn't know at the time was, the warranty is handled by the installer not the manufacturer. I caution all about using Coach Rice, he won't be there after the deal.
After those repairs I would say that my Hannigan Trike is a pleasure to ride.

I have had nothing but excellent support from Hannigan and Coach Rice Trikes. If you are having issues, then just maybe, there is a valid reason. Perhaps your phone failed to ring when they called, your email did not go through, or various other reasons. Coach Rice (Carl) travels often and in some very remote areas picking up and dropping off trikes, places where cell phones don't work. May take a couple of calls to reach him. Johhny Lee and Jim Gooch at Hannigan are easy to talk with, answer their phones and have always answered my questions.

Too many voice messages left by me, emails to his address, and no "missed calls" on my phone for it to be anything other than avoidance on his part. I agree that Jim G is great to talk to, but not his problem.

When you talk to Carl next, maybe you can tell him to call me. I've talked to one other on this forum with the same issues so I know it's not a communication issue.

Being in private business myself, I will say you can't please everybody and can never please some people..but we try.

Hopefully my Hannigan continues to perform flawlessly and never has a warranty issue, but if it does, I feel confident that between the factory and Coach Rice Trikes, it will get taken care of.

I'm not expecting to be "pleased" as if I'm owed something I didn't pay for, but I do expect that when I pay $18,650 for a product with a 3 year warranty that it will be honored in good faith. Not even calling back once shows a huge lack of integrity. I think his Forte is probably Goldwing conversions since I know he does many times more, mine is a Harley.
This is not an isolated issue as you might suggest, Google his name. Wish I'd done that earlier.

My repairs are done and my trike runs great. I have no expectation of any call from him. I just want people to know both sides before they commit to a conversion. I used to have your same opinion, a great guy.

+1 ThumbUp A regrettable yet undeniable Truth.
Another Truth; Those types are always most eager to share their One-Sided "Tales" of victimized sorrow & woe whenever and wherever the opportunity arises. On a never ending "Hatchet Mission"/Smear-Campaign so to speak....
NOT directed at the OP of this Thread as honestly don't believe he is that "type".
On the other hand,,,,

Not even calling back once shows a huge lack of integrity.

OR,,, It's the result of someone, having done everything humanly possible to no avail, realizing and coming to the unfortunate conclusion that the other can't be satisfied no matter what they do or how far they have gone to try.
In that instance any reasonable, wise, and prudent Man typically decides to stop participating in an exercise in Futility and refuses to continue to waste good time and honest effort.

I just want people to know both sides before they commit to a conversion.

Wouldn't THAT be refreshing. The "Other Side" to your Tale that is....
Betcha "The REST of the Story" to your Deposition would be quite telling and vindicating indeed.

But hey,,, maybe that's just me ;)
