Anybody know where is a good place to get some long handlebars. i have a pair of 18" apes and still can't reach.

Thanks

I had a guy in California make my last set. He made them exactly to my specs and did a helluva job. His name is Anthony Tyrrell. I found him on Chop Cult, but I'm sure he has a Facebook page. I picked one of his styles and sent him the length, spread, etc, and he put them together from that. He offered the option of getting them raw or powder coated. Fairly reasonably priced, too. Hope this helps.

PEACE and ride safe!:Dorag:

Something you might consider are 6 bends. In the '60s and '70s I was a little short for reaching the bars with out having to lean forward. I ran 6 bends. They look like pull backs with an extra section and the height can be adjusted for looks and comfort. I rode a super cruiser seat on a HD and could lean back in the seat. I'm about 5'8''.

Try Flanders -- http://www.flandersco.com/index.html

Have you mocked up a bar to determine what you are comfortable with? It is pretty easy with PVC pipe. You can bend the PVC where you want with a heat gun. Once you have it where you want it, measure the rise, pullback, and width. Then find the closest approximation. Flanders has a lot to choose from but they have discontinued the extreme pullback bars they used to sell. I guess the market for them is just too small. If you can't find what you need, you might have to make your own custom bar.

Or, you might find a set of risers that would let you keep your current bar.

Remember to check that your throttle cables/hoses/wires for fit and binding.

I had this issue with my trike, im pretty much a budget builder and while my mild apes are fine i do want a weirder looking set of bars some day.

I got some 5" risers real cheap off ebay, they have a bend at top and work really well, i still have the apes but dont have to reach for them now,

Cheers
