Hand brake adjustment C90 Lehman Jackal

My hand brake doesn't seem to do much. Is there anything I can do to improve its operation or do I need to take it in to the dealer?

Depending on the miles, you might just need a brake adjustment. Adjusting the rear brake shoes so that they are closer to the drums upon application will bring the parking brake up also. You then need to check the cables from the handle to make sure there is no binding there. Lastly, the park brake leaver could be binding and may be in need of lubrication.

Thanks for the response. I am reluctant to muck with brakes, so I think I will have a professional check all the brakes.
