2006 GL1800 RoadSmith trike. Cruising down the interstate at 70 mph and the front MPA tire went flat. Tire had only 10,000 miles on it with some minor cupping. The problem turned out to be the metal valve stem leaking at the rubber grommet. I have been riding bikes for 68 years and this is my FIRST flat!

Now the good part: I'm deaf and cant hear anything on a telephone and must rely on texting. GWRRA Roadside Assistance is one of the very few (if any) such plans that can receive texts for help instead of voice calls. AMA, AAA, Alstate certainly don't. The GWRRA Plan was fast and courteous and even found a RoadSmith dealer to haul my bike to without cost to me and did his best to minimize my difficulty.
In my opinion it is the best roadside assistance plan anywhere.

That is good to know information. Thanks for passing it along!!!

Konrad, thanks a lot for posting that. I just joined up week or so ago so I'm pleased you're happy with it.

Great to hear, Konrad and thanks for sharing your experience. I've actually dropped my (to me expensive) AAA coverage in favor of the GWRRA roadside service. ThumbUp

I agree. I've used GWRRA roadside assistance twice in the last few years (both times for cars, but it doesn't matter - car or bike) and both times was very pleased with the service. Until recently it was $25 extra on top of the regular dues - just went to $35, but still worth it considering the service and the cost of other plans.

Definitely good value and obviously from this report, good service. Touch wood, I've yet to have a flat. It's been said, "Its not if, but when", so the longer I ride, there's still a chance it could happen to me! And that's the time when your choice of service provider will get to make you happy or PO'd!

Because of different vehicle needs, I carry AAA and RA coverage - trying to keep all of my bases covered.
