I'm working on a new "low sodium" seafood gumbo receipe today. Can't use my old receipe 'cause Betty is on a low sodium diet. Don't know how I'm gonna get that good Creole flavor without salt but we love Cajun cookin'. If it works I'll post up the receipe. Can't find File Powder around here either so I'll substitute Thyme for that. It will be close but not really the same.

Never let anyone convince you that thyme is a good substitute for file' powder.....it ain't!!!
