Does not seem we can go anywhere, anytime on the trike and not have some fool pull out in front of us way, way, way too close, cut us off, change lanes so close we almost swap paint, or some other brain dead stupid thing. These things we ride aren't exactly small and we all have lights on, but it never ceases to amaze me how often this happens. Good thing my brakes work very well. Annoying. Guess it just goes with the territory.

You are a brave man indeed Gary!!! I don't like driving in the DFW area even in my truck.. Every time we visit our son in Benbrook I just hope and pray he doesn't have something needing us to go into city central.
I've ridden through there on the bike a couple times and feared for my life. Now I go around. It takes longer but I get there. :xszpv::xszpv:

Being the Devils Advocate here; But think about it when your driving in your car /truck Yahoos will cut you off, Blow a light/stop sign, Turn left in front of you also.... It's just when your on a Bike it becomes up-close and personal. Some drivers have been known to run into the back of school buses, Can't get a much bigger target than that...

The only answer to that' is to Outlaw Auto trans, power brakes, and power steering.
That will eliminate at least 50% of the nimrod's that are on the roads today in one fell swoop....

Everybody knows how you feel. Seems like it happens every time you ride, something almost goes haywire.
Coming out of Baton Rouge on 110 running 70 MPH some IDIOT pulled directly across in front of my wife and I. Do not know to this day how I missed him. I guess guidance from above, my only explanation.

Just flew into DFW today. Drove down to Desoto on business. I did seem to notice a high level of morons on the road. And that was in mid-afternoon. No rush hour to speak of. Airhorns and middle fingers are required equipment for these situations.:qpnmt:

Hi Gary: I noticed that a lot while spending the winter's in Arizona. I ride with a couple of guys that have trikes down there. I saw it happen so many times riding with them. Once I pulled up next to my friend and asked him. If he had a target on the side of his bike ! I still ride a 2 wheeler. It doesn't happen to me. I guess they think its big enough . On one ride after he was cut off. Where he had to actually turn away from the car. I had enough. I rode up next to the cage and made it a point that was a guy and his wife on a Motorcycle! Guy just rolled up his window and made a right turn. Big as*&^%$!!!Guess you have to keep your eyes WIDE open. :mad:

Finding enough politicians to do anything that would benefit society is a mission impossible. They only have enough gonads to vote in things for special interest groups, including their own wages, benefits and pensions!
:confused::confused::confused::confused:

Ah, 'Politicians"!!! They all need to be buried alive.The archaeologists can sort them out sometime in the far future..

Bad cage drivers are a real problem here in central Illinois ( and everywhere else too, it seems) Tailgaters, cell phone used, drunks, and distracted drivers are a pain in the a-- , especially for motorcycles , be they two wheeled or three (sometimes 4). I once had a dingbat try to pass me on an entry ramp to an interstate.
I have found that cars seem to notice the trike more than they ever did the bike. I ride a lot of secondary paved roads and it seems in spite of the speed limit of 55 on these roads; people seem to think 75 plus is ok since these roads are seldom patroled and never set up for radar. I just lett'em go around unless they tailgate.....then I'll slow down and force them to pass. I'd rather have them in front of me where I can keep a better eye on them.
A friend of mine used to reward tailgaters with a nice juicy wad of chewing tobacco if they didn't back off.
