On a GL1800, the Aux cable is either in the left fairing pocket or under it, right? If it is not in either of those places, where would it be? Isn't that a stock item on an 1800? I have looked under the pocket twice and I can't find it, and I want to hook up my serious radio. Any ideas?

If yours has one it should be plugged in the boot circled in green. IF its a new bike sometimes the dealer doesnt install them right away and you can ask them about it. If its used sometimes the other owner removes it.

Mick is correct, sometimes they are all wrapped up in electrical tape too. If not then you need this part for $28, or go beg your dealer

Thanks for your replies Mick and lunchbox. It is a 2004 1800 Champion which I just bought Tuesday. I took the pocket out twice and can't find it. There is a 3 wire female plug in the boot with nothing in it, so I guess the mystery is solved. I will have to order one cause my local dealer doesn't stock much.

I'm not familiar with the cable Lunchbox mentioned but Wingstuff's web page doesn't say it's for the AUX input of the GL1800. Here is a link to one that I know is correct. Honda OEM Parts Part Number: HO-6619803 - Direct Line Parts
