Whenever I see them, I can only think of a spammer hit.
Sorry to anyone who's offended by my prejudicial way of thinking, but 99.9% of the time, I'm right on that specific subjectThumbUp
What legit person or entity would post something in a foreign language on an American/english speaking website where 99.999% of the readers won't understand it???:xzqxz:
Duuuuuuuuuuuuuumb:Coffee:

The great thing about this site is the little triangle shaped button on the lower left corner of each post to "report" the spammer.
Another great thing is the Moderators/Admin. take quick action to zap the spammer away from view!

I usually catch the scammers before they post but there has been a big jump of them lately. Please continue to report spam posts (black triagle with exclamation mark at bottom of each post) and me or one of the mods will get on it ASAP and dont click on any links. Best case you'll be taken to a weird foreign site (clickbating) worst case you could download a virus or trojan.

The same thing goes for PMs. You can also report a PM message just as you can a post by using the triangle icon. PMs are becoming the hackers preferred way to deliver spam and virus links so be careful of suspicious PMs too. We had two using these a while back to target folks who had classified ads running.

Learn something new every day (or at least once a year). Who knew those triangles were for spam? Apparently everyone but me.:qpnmt:

Feels Good to know someone is reading what we say and cares enough to toss a bone to the "OLD Dogs".. :) :xszpv::xszpv:

If by that you mean reading your PMs, I dont read private messages unless they are reported for abuse or there are multiple PMs from a brand new member to several different members. Thats how you stop spammers/hackers. No decent forum owner who cares about his forum and its members as much as I do mine has any interest in snooping on members messages, its none of my business what anyone discusses. I am frequently asked to sign into a members account to try and fix a problem, did that yesterday for TomG. The options are a) allow abuse and spammers/hackers free reign b) disable the PM system.
