I have a Motor Trike IRS on my 09 Wing. Recently I developed what can only be described as a horrible squeak. I just knew it was a bushing. It was the same kind of noise that pushing down on the bumper of my 67 Chevy made. It was loud enough to be embarrassing. Anyway, I took it to Al Lamb Honda in Dallas. They are a "Power" dealer and a Motor Trike dealer as well. Just to be clear, they did not do the conversion. I also had a significant coolant leak that required the gas tank to be removed.
All being said, they replaced the rubber bushings under the Motor Trike 3 year warranty, and they replaced the leaking coolant hose under the tank under the Wing warranty. The labor was about 4.5 hours and I believe the labor rate is $90.00 per hour. All of this was at zero cost to me. This is the first issue of any kind since the conversion and there was no issue with the warranty. It might be different had it been a transmission issue but I was very pleased with their attitude and how Motor Trike stepped up to authorize the repair of the bushings. I just wanted to give Al Lamb and Motor Trike a pat on the back for real customer service. :yes:
