Still working on the bar adjustments and the mirrors. I finally took the mirror mounts off, reversed sides and flipped them, and they are now real close. I took a short ride down the longest manmade fishing pier in the world, The Texas City Dike. It's 5 miles long and then picked up skyline drive for the trip back around. After 3 days of working on the garage to get the trike in there, I sure enjoyed the ride. Plus, there's just a touch of fall in the air first thing in the morning now. I hope everyone had a good weekend. I could use another couple of days, but there's this thing called work that I have to be at in the morning. The pic is at the very end of the Texas City Dike looking towards Port Bolivar.
The barge in the background is at the "Texas City Wye".garage.jpgTCD2.jpg

Thanks, Jim. Yellow wouldn't have been my first choice of colors, but it's growing on me. It is highly visible going down the road too. After two years of being sidelined and having two surgeries done, I am just so glad to be able to ride, that's all that matters to me. I like the whole made in the USA aspect of the Cobra too. It's a lot of fun to ride and tomorrow, the seat bottom is heading to the local custom upholstery shop to get 4" of foam added to raise me up a bit. I also got a small tool kit for those days when things come loose and you need the right tool to put it back on. Now, if we could just appease the rain goddess long enough for it to dry up, I could ride it to work for a quick fix.

I like the black graphics on yours, Ed. I have been kicking around doing something to my fenders to bring it forward a few years design wise with some sort of wrap or stripes. One of the first bikes I had was a yellow Yamaha 3 wheeler in yellow. We rode trails on it, and that color was a real plus in the woods and on the beach.

Nice!

Had a friend that had a Cobra trike. He owned a speed shop, so naturally he put a hopped up 427 Chevy on the frame. Dang, that trike was FAST! No trouble bringing the front wheel off the ground and putting down some real long rubber stripes. ;)
