Gettin the post count up

I myself am a member of numerous forums and I sometimes forget how much I enjoy visiting some of them. When I get an occasional email reminder of how long it's been since I visited or how few if any posts I have made, I do check in and post on my favorites. I actually appreciate an occasional reminder and I hope you all feel the same.

I have deleted over 5000 members since we started the forum, but I am slower to do so these days as I hate to lose members. I'd much rather send a reminder and have y'all join in the community even if its just an occasional post. Most forum admin would never, ever delete members active or not, just so the member count stays high. I'd rather have less members, but more active ones participating.

I like the fact that most everyone here is friendly and helpful and very seldom does anyone get all pissy-pants. I also like that this forum is made up of people who don't just hang out here yacking, but actually work on their bikes & trikes and get out and ride together. I've made a lot of good friends here over the years.

I am a member of several forums, mostly GL1800 type forums and a couple of Yamaha forum but I like this one the best. I always come here first and enjoy reading from the members. Thanks Zook.
